The Midnight Masquerade (RP Party)

Catching a glimpse of the man under the mask Roxie smiled. He was quite handsome indeed. Those blue eyes of his are what first snagged her attention to him. "Is that a challenge?" she teased.

Thor was holding the mask in his hand and smiled at the woman in front of him. "Never! I simply know how he tends to react when someone even mentions returning home." Thor sighed. It was good to feel the wind on his face and he turned his back to the ballroom to face the horizon and feel the wind better.

"I'll try" She smiled and looked at his green eyes. "So, you aren't from here too."

Roxie smiled softly as he held his mask. "I see. So he does not like being home?" she asked. She could understand in a way. Back home for her meant settling down and Roxie was far from ready to do that. She wanted to see the world before thinking about a family.

"How observant of you." Loki mused as he looked back into her blue eyes. The space between them was slowly shrinking.

She blushed a bit as he looked back at her. "May I ask you where you're from?" She asked.

"New Mexico." He lied easily enough. "And you, my dear? Where are you from?"

"Well, I'm from Europe... Iceland..." She lied too and bit her lips.

"My brother is a rather complex mind. Even after living with him all my life, I still fail on understanding him most of the times." Thor analyzed the mask in his hand absently. "My Mother misses him very much. Not that I do not but she is a mother. Her eyes soak whenever we speak of Loki in his old days."

Loki pulled her closer to brush his lips against her ear. "Liar." He breathed into her ear.

She smiled and whispered. "And tell me, is New Mexico a beautiful city?" She asked sarcastically.

Roxie listened and her eyes widened when she heard Thor say his brothers name. "Loki? I know of Loki we are friends. You are Thor of Asgard, are you not?" she asked as she pulled her mask off to look at him.

"It's a state, not a city." Loki corrected her with a smirk. "You can tell me the truth. There's no need to be embarrassed because you come from some place different."

"Okay... I'm from the golden city..." She whispered.

Loki rolled his eyes. "That doesn't help me, my lady." He whispered back to her. "If you could be more specific, perhaps I could visit your lovely city in the future."

"We call our city Asgard..." She said the truth.

Loki stopped dancing with her. He reached up and pulled off her mask. "Sif? What are you doing here?" He asked her, surprised to see her.

Sif was surprised. "Loki? I'm just enjoying this party... What are you doing here?" She asked.

"The same reason as you." Loki answered, pulling off his mask. There was no reason for the silly thing anymore.

Thor could only hear her saying she knew Loki and that they were friends. Then, she took off the black mask, revealing more of her face. "I /am/ Thor Odinson of Asgard. Could you help me finding my brother sometime, lady Roxanne?" He whispered, taking her both hands and looking pleadingly at her emerald orbs.

Sif laughed. "New Mexico?" She was Looking around when saw Thor. "And we aren't alone, there is another Asgardian."

"Another?" Loki followed her gaze. "Thor..." His eyes looked over at the woman who was with him. "...and Roxie?"

She shrugged. "I think he is searching you... as always."

Loki sighed and looked back to Sif. "He's always looking for me. Should we go speak with him?"

"I don't know." She shrugged again. "If you want to talk with him I'll follow you."
